Dr. Barbara L. Bakus, DO, ABIHM is a board certified Family Physician. She is also board certified in Integrative Holistic Medicine, and has completed an Integrative Medicine fellowship with Dr. Andrew Weil, at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. Additionally, she has trained at UCLA Helm’s course for Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Bakus is also MAT Certified in Addiction Medicine. This is an exciting new medical practice designed to give the patients of all ages a full spectrum of treatment options in which the patient and physician collaborate in new and dynamic ways for the individual optimal health of each patient.

Amanda Cyrus APRN

Amanda Cyrus, APRN, FNP-BC

Amanda is a dedicated and compassionate nurse practitioner who graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA from Keiser University, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing. She completed her undergraduate studies at East Carolina University, building a strong foundation in nursing and patient care.

Originally from New York, Amanda brings both professionalism and warmth to her clinical practice. She is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care and is committed to lifelong learning in her field.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two sons. A true animal lover, she finds joy in trips to the beach, visiting Disney World, and discovering new sushi spots. Her approachable nature and strong clinical skills make her a valued member of our healthcare team.


Sydney Gibson APRN

Sydney Gibson, APRN, FNP-BC

Sydney is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing patient-centered care to individuals and families across all stages of life. She earned her Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati. Before that, she attended Florida Southern College, where she earned a degree in Health Science and competed as a collegiate athlete. She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida through their second-degree BSN program.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Sydney spent six years as an inpatient nurse at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical practice and compassionate care. Her experiences have shaped her holistic, evidence-based approach to patient care.

Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending time at the beach or on her boat with her family.
